1/ 🧠 It was a blast hosting Victoria's inaugural Project Zero Australia Network Conference! A fantastic day of learning and collaboration with passionate educators committed to fostering engaging, inquiry-driven learning.

2/ 🤔 @RonRitchhart tackled the "illusion of learning," stressing the importance of embracing ambiguity and cognitive conflict to deepen understanding. He highlighted creating a "stretch" in learning: "We can develop powerful thinkers who also do well in tests."

3/ 🤩 Simon Brooks captivated us with the power of generative questions, slow looking, and cultivating wonder to spark curiosity in learners. "Students should experience direct instruction like frozen drops of water in a parched desert."

4/ 💡 Dean Ashenden shared thought-provoking insights on education reform: "Schools aren't distribution centres for knowledge; they're production sites where teachers and students are co-producers."

5/ Workshops provided invaluable opportunities for educators to explore practical, student-centered strategies. It was inspiring to be surrounded by a dedicated community challenging the traditional "grammar of schools."
