Went Tesla camping to Fort Griffin State Historical site in Texas. It’s recognized as a dark sky site and boy was it. With a new moon it was incredible! I captured 70 light frames of 3 minutes each of the Wizard Nebula aka NGC 7380.

Pulled out the 9.25” SCT and captured Stephan’s Quintet last night. 112 x 3 minute exposures. At 290 million light years away these galaxies are very dim. The blueish one is closer at 40 million light years. The last picture is what one 3 minute exposure looks like.
