Early morning at Lottie, you know the drill. Kettle on and a herbal: No sugar, no honey, no faff. Just lemon verbena, and a handful of mint. Added a couple of berries for a hint of plot-grown sweetness — because who needs sugar when the danglies are doing their thing?

Perfectly edible cauliflower. The pink effect is my laziness in not covering over with leaves, so the pink is sun/temperature effect. This wouldn’t sell in the shops but it’s sure being eaten back at base camp ! #growyourown #allotmment
