Our HOA 6th formers went to the island of Murino today to see the glass blowing and then got the boat back to Venice to go to the contemporary Art exhibitions at the Biennale. They have just had a final evening dinner together where everyone enjoyed Italian cuisine! #HOATrip2024

Y9 Granada students visited La Alhambra, one of the most famous monuments of Islamic architecture. We had a fantastic tour in Spanish. Miguel communicated so clearly at the right level so that the girls understood. Y9 wandered around El Generalife and it’s beautiful gardens 🌺

Its the Final day for our HOA students! It’s a bit soggy but they are keeping dry in museums. On the way to the airport via our boats :)

Y9 Spanish girls enjoyed their final morning of lessons in Castila Language school before hitting el mercado San Agustin. They sampled lots of delicious local produce and spoke to market sellers to find out the answers to their Spanish food questionnaire 🦐🧀🍅

In the afternoon Y9 Spanish students headed to the ‘Parque de las Ciencias’ where they climbed the viewing tower, saw a falconry display, visited the butterfly house and watched a short film in the planetarium. They finished off the day with tasty churros #Plaza de Bib-Rambla.
