I am literally begging writing competitions to work on the basis of years spent in the industry, not age. Age based applications especially disadvantage women from non traditional creative backgrounds who are likely to have babies earlier in their lives.

I'm really on my anti ageism hype today, which people occasionally find weird because I'm only just in my 30s, but honestly if you're even a little bit selfish, now's the time to start trying to combat this shit so that we don't have to suffer like previous generations did
