"What would external be? Energetic? If your heart is beating and you're capable of thinking then I'd say you are."

Loud sighing

"Did you just doze off?"

"Suppose. Just don't end up vilified because of it. I may be able to use my charms to sway your mind but I doubt it'll work on the others."

"Mhm. Just resting your eyes? Perhaps it'd help if you went to sleep earlier in the night."

"Hm. I'd say the same but I've heard I don't seem all too energetic."

A smile, his hands nearly tucked behind his back. "Not at all. Just sharing some friendly advice."

"Another day of intense heat. Another day of leaving my coat at the office. Miserable time of year."

He's spending his morning at a museum. Partly to reminisce and partly to investigate claims of the supernatural.

People take one look at him and assume he knows very ancient and very powerful magic. He does nothing to dissuade this. In fact, he'll often play it up in an attempt to scare his attacker into submission.
