James Gunn absolutely nailed it with #Superman. From the music and VFX to the camerawork and humor, he crafted the ideal light-hearted, kid-friendly family film for the summer. Every character had standout moments—especially Krypto.

Gunn has done something that I only thought possible in Animated form, he not only made us believe a man could fly but made us believe a person could care so much about preservation of life (ALL LIFE). Hoult is the best movie live action Lex, an unmissable experience! #Superman

#SupermanMovie is pretty good. There's less of an overarching plot than a series of episodes. Some are great (Superman vs. Kaiju!), some are not (Superman must escape inter-dimensional prison 😴). Easily James Gunn's weakest comic book movie but I still had fun.

I went into #Superman with moderate expectations. Sadly, it didn't live up to the hype for me. For something meant to be a fresh start to a new DC Universe, it felt like a re-tread of things done before.

#Superman is now tracking to make $140M-$160M OW domestically, $300M+ worldwide. Early reactions are better than we expected. They are so good that may overshadow polemics raised by a recent James Gunn interview. New updated tomorrow after the reviews impact on pre-sales.

I really wanted to love #Superman, but I just *sort of* liked it. Not as overstuffed as I predicted with Mr. Terrific being a standout. Sad that it's as visually bland/dull as it is & that it drops the ball on some of the commentary from the trailer. Overall, it's pretty okay!
