We're happy to report that Chewbacca, the 2 year old puggle that was going to be euthanized at the shelter, joined the Pug Rescue of Florida family and had orthopedic surgery tonight to repair his elbow which was broken in 3 places.

Happy New Year everyone! 2017 was wonderful, but the best has yet to come!

With a heavy heart we share the news that one of our PROoF alumni has passed over Rainbow Bridge. We received this note from Maddox's loving family: We adopted Maddox in Nov of 2014 from Pug Rescue of Florida and was a wonderful addition to our household.

A few months ago we discovered that he had an inoperable tumor in his face and unfortunly he left us on Dec 27, 2017. Maddox came to our family as 6 year old little Pug with a wonderfully quirky personality.

He had so much life and made everyone who came into contact with him fall in love with him. He brought so much joy into our lives! He will be missed but we are grateful for the love he shared with us during our 3 years together. Thank you for helping him find us. The Gibson’s
