The continued improvement of our A team cadets was highlighted today at cadet league. Having got to div 1 last time out they produce some excellent wins to stay in the division this time. Marcus leading the way at no 1 but the younger members Luke and Daniel not far behind.

It’s been a tough season for our British league team with new players learning to play at a higher level. Great win this weekend 5-4 over swerve with all players contributing. Huddersfield 9-0 win and two close losses 6-3 but this team will learn and be back stronger next year.

Good to see one of Pudsey’s youngsters on the Cooke and Deaton Easter training camp. Fabiana getting help from former England national champion Kelly Sibley.

Pudsey TTC hosted a friendly this week with community ttc. This is a recently formed club and has increased in membership of adults going to 5 teams next year. The result was not important TT was the winner with all players young and old enjoying the game!

Daniel and Luke at the U13 nationals today and wearing the new Pudsey junior team tops. Both boys gaining valuable experience for the U12,tomorrow, Daniel winning two and Luke one today.

Well done to Pudsey youngster Luke Speight on finishing 4th at the Yorkshire Cadet trials in Hull on Sunday. His impressive performance makes him reserve for the Yorkshire County Cadet U15 team. Luke is part of a number of Pudsey youngsters who are now on the tournament circuit.

Well done to our British league team on their opening day 5-4 win over York. Debutant Marriott winning two and RichSmith winning two. Smith and Marriott combining to take the doubles. Kelly and Landau losing some tight games in the fifth.

Good day for our Pudsey Juniors at British junior clubs league. Our A team topped division one and thd B team were second in division two. Marcus top of the averages in one and Daniel top of two with both winning eight out of nine.

Well done to our Pudsey TTC juniors first team on winning the Junior British Clubs league at Wakefield yesterday. The boys were unbeaten over the series and topped the league on each of the 4 days.

Good luck this weekend for our Senior British team in action in Widnes this weekend. Saturday will see the team led by Rich Smith, Amy Marriott and Brad Landau. At 4 will be 13 year old Luke Speight making his debut at this level. Pudsey continues to develop their own juniors.
