It is much easier to throw stones than it is to build a cathedral. (It's perfectly fine to question/criticize builders, but ultimately we should be rooting for them.)

Storage costs decrease faster than the blockchain grows. The block size limit ensures this. A $140 4TB HDD will last for at least the next 15 years. Still too much? Run a pruned node. The real threat to affordable nodes is the bloated and growing UTXO set.

Public-Pool stats have been reset (backdated to the 1st) and last month's lucky Bitaxe with a 10T difficulty got $370! Hash on. (P.S sorry for the late reset, new computer this month)

Really odd how many people came out of the woodwork I've never interacted with before to yell at me to get out of Bitcoin or leave forever under this post. Something really fishy about the engagement/replies around what is such a tiny, niche topic even in the Bitcoin space.

An update on the OP_RETURN saga: Remove the default limit, leave the config options in for anyone that wants to use them for whatever reason. This is the most sane approach, glad to see it's the one remaining. Hopefully this will be merged and we can all move on with our lives,

Summer Meng Open Source Miners United Summer, massive thanks to you for digging in and asking questions here. The Bitaxe is an open source Bitcoin miner. If a seller and/or manufacturer is not providing the source, or being cagey about it, then it’s not a Bitaxe, plain and simple. No matter what they say. It is

Summer Meng skot Open Source Miners United The main issue besides the leeching is that they also don't provide security updates. The majority of clones I have seen so far don't provide any updates or even lock down the operating system against tampering. There are ways around it, but it's a really bad practice and puts
