AOC yesterday: “Scott Stringer, have you ever had a conversation with that guy? He's so funny. I love Scott.” Perhaps among the Hot Girls for Zohran and the Cuomosexuals, we have been missing the Hot For Scotts.

For all those confused by the NYT non-endorsement editorial, we ran it through ChatGPT and asked the AI to convert it into ranked-choice guidance.

New pod, with NYT mayoral panelist Christina Greer on the paper's "mixed message": “The Times said, ‘Listen to these 15 smart people, they're going to give you some guidance.’ Then it said, ‘They didn't say what we wanted them to say, so now listen to us.’” thecity.nyc/2025/06/16/new…

“Far from being broken, New York is fundamentally a miracle, offering daily testimony to our ability to overcome the worst impulses of human nature and live together in something that reasonably approximates harmony.”

Exploiting the Museum and the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising to sanitize “globalize the intifada” is outrageous and especially offensive to survivors. Since 1987 Jews have been attacked and murdered under its banner. All leaders must condemn its use and the abuse of history.

The direction and editing of this video (I was a film major in college) evokes the frenetic pace of a mayor facing re-election yet does not actually show him doing much beyond getting in and out of his car

Some good takes in these interviews: “To be honest with you, that whole [Cuomo] and de Blasio, and that whole acrimonious relationship just seemed so toxic and dysfunctional, and I was like, do we need that again? They both own that," he said.

I hope the NYPD makes an example of this caller but it’s through the looking glass for Mamdani to argue one day that “globalize the intifada” is the peaceful language of universal values and the next that Cuomo-aligned attack ads are inciting (a vicious threat of) violence.

Cuomo has a lawyer posting about education policy who turns off replies because she can’t handle responses. Sad. SHSAT is state law not mayoral prerogative btw.

ICE took her mother in Chicago. Now a 6-year-old is left without a guardian or a legal path to reunite in Honduras. A story about the children left behind by deportations—and the lack of infrastructure to care for them in the U.S or for reunification. chicagotribune.com/2025/06/22/ice…

Scary preview of our upcoming general mayoral election: “It’s as serious and ridiculous as a Russian roulette game inside a clown car.”
