Our Helicopter assisted Police Scotland North Ayrshire locating a lost walker in a wooded area on the Isle of Arran. The helicopter landed in a nearby clearing, PC McAdam alighted from the aircraft and provided 1st Aid. The helicopter then conveyed the walker to our colleagues at Whiting Bay.

The Police Helicopter assisted Road Policing Scotland in North Ayrshire today after a vehicle pursuit, whereby 2 people ran off. The passenger was quickly detained however the driver attempted to hide, but couldn't evade the helicopter. Both persons arrested and taken to custody. #Teamwork

It has been a busy period for the Police Helicopter, assisting both Police Scotland Falkirk and Police Scotland South Lanarkshire with vulnerable missing persons recently. Both persons were traced safe and well and taken to hospital for checks. Great teamwork between police in the sky and on the ground.

The Police Helicopter was involved in a multi agency rescue last night when a person entered the River Clyde and got in to difficulties. The crew was able to locate the person in the darkness and assisted in guiding HM Coastguard and Police Scotland Inverclyde to the location. #Teamwork

The Police Scotland Helicopter assisted Police Scotland Renfrewshire with a search for a vulnerable male in the Renfrewshire area this morning. The crew found the male in a tree line and were able to talk in response policing and a dog unit to his location, where he was traced safe and well.
