•This marks the sixth consecutive year of Thomas' partnership with Operation Warm  •The donation directly addresses a crucial need, as children outgrow their shoes every 4-8 months

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department for the 2025 Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics North Carolina. The Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) for Special Olympics is the largest year-round public awareness and grass-roots fundraising campaign for Special Olympics.

The 5k run will began at 1 p.m. in the parking lot of the Law Enforcement Center (LEC) in Uptown. Runners will participate in a 3-mile run through Uptown, making a stop at Truist Field for a photo before runners return to the LEC for the event’s conclusion. Watch WCNC Charlotte
