1 of 2. As we are now immersed in the age of social media, 1 of the biggest aspects of development that youth/collegiate athletes/parents are missing right now is that it is not about the aesthetic or complexity of a drill (or the following/likes on IG) that will ensure impact.

2 of 2. It is about the recipe & complement of drills (programming) over a period of time that will maximize & generate sustainable impact. Anyone can copy/imitate off of IG/YouTube, but an expert can create & develop a series of settings that will ensure safety & progression.

It’s 🤣. People send me 🎥 of trainers in CO jokingly comparing us to them. The recipe of intensity, programming, & impact doesn’t come close. The reality? I don’t compete w/local trainers. All my research, analysis, & PROVEN execution is in competition w/programs across the 🌎

Athletes:☝🏼of the biggest SEPARATORS between you & your competition at the moment is RECOVERY! Your body grows when it rests. Growth windows are a real thing & can be a MASSIVE advantage for you, IF YOU LET IT! Think QUALITY within your programming, NOT QUANTITY!

PARENTS & ATHLETES: Don’t invest in training and/or club environments with relentless HYPE, rather invest in training and/or club environments that facilitate and produce effective HABITS. HYPE creates inconsistency & over-exaggeration, HABITS create longevity & impact.

1 of 2. There are few that accuse of me of not allowing athletes to train in other environments. Not even remotely true. I just happen to be one of the only adults in the room with the understanding & courage to try & protect the Process.

2 of 2. Multiple (3, 4, sometimes 5 or 6 lol) Programs does nothing but expose youth athletes to confusion, injury, and complacency. And I will always decide to put the athlete first and choose to not associate with that, UNLIKE a lot of Directors, Strength/Private Trainers.

☝🏼of the biggest lies “elite” Directors will tell you is that you NEED to be around the BEST players to develop. Players don’t define a Program & dictate the impact of your Process, Proper Programming, Accountability, & Engagement does. You don’t have to 👀 very far to see this.

We are in a new generation of athlete that leans on IG followers, National Label, Protective Coaches/Directors, & Exploiting Private/Strength Trainers. Much more Empty than Depth. Everyone wants to be a Beast until it’s time to do what beasts do. Choose your support group wisely.

The way you train, matters.

Build HABITS, not HYPE.

Accountability is an ACTION we provide FOR (not TO) ourselves/each other. Accountability is the greatest GIFT we can offer in any high performance environment. The youth, HS, & collegiate ⚽️ environments are in dire need of accountability at the moment. Way too much deception.

More games does not ensure impact & progression within your process. Proper programming & training does. Your Club, training environment is approx 75% of your year. If your Club, training environment is poor, then so will the rate of impact & progression within your process.

Show me a Coach who stays in 1️⃣ spot & consistently develops/creates results at every level (youth/HS/College/Pro) W/O selling national label, recruitment, and/or “connections”, and I’ll show you what a good Coach actually is/looks like. The definition has been severely skewed.

1 of 2. Youth Parents are being duped at the Club level & now in the supplemental space with all of these “Trainers” & their “international connections/opportunities”. All of which is a system designed to generate revenue and minimal (at best) opportunity.

2 of 2. Do your research. How many “invites” actually manifest into LEGITIMATE pro opportunities? Find me a “trainer” that won’t REQUIRE you to attend their “camp” for 💰 & doesn’t take a commission off your “invite”, & I’ll show you a trainer who actually cares about opportunity

Serious athletes w/ legitimate intentions find & surround themselves w/ serious & legitimate people. Things don’t happen by accident (+ or -). Athletes, reflect on your current preparedness, impact, & intentions. Are you surrounded & supported by the proper people/groups?🤔
