District staff had lunch at Longfellow Elementary today! It is Pozole Day. The students were gracious hosts. Nothing makes you feel more special than a Kindergarten telling you to "have a nice lunch".

Thank you to the students at the Pasco Transition Center for treating me to brunch today. The students made crepes and scrambled eggs. One of the students even taught me how to cook and flip crepes!

Kicking Off the 2024-2025 school year by Celebrating PSD's Superstars with staff and student performances. I tell you..."Pasco's Got Talent!" and it is demonstrated and cultivated by every member of the team every day! I am proud to be on the team.

The first 4 days of the 2024-2025 school year are under our belts marking the official start of my 9th year as PSD's Superintendent. I am so incredibly grateful to get to be part of a team of amazing people who invest in the youth of Pasco EVERYDAY! #BestJobEver

So I am sitting at my dinning room table (putting Lego flowers together) and I look up out the window and see...a girl on an electric scooter with a sled tied behind it pulling her brother. Both kids had on helmets! I love living in my neighborhood! I can't stop smiling about it!

Honored to be "showcasing" PSD's Dual Language program. Every student in our community can start the journey to bilingualism and biliteracy starting in kindergarten at the school closest to where they live. #LanguageisanAsset
