Congratulations again Niclas Jansson!

Interesting article and PRF paper by Daniele and Valerio on 180 degree pipe bends! Congratulations! SimEx Institute of Fluid Mechanics (LSTM) Department Chemie- und Bioingenieurwesen (FAU) phys.org/news/2023-12-q…

Setting up and playing with our new LDA system at Institute of Fluid Mechanics (LSTM)! Lets hope for cool turbulence data in the future! Thanks to Felix and Dantec for the organisation!

Together with Philipp Schlatter we are looking for a #Postdoc in experimental fluid mechanics who will work with us on experimental facilities located at KTH Royal Institute of Technology: kth.se/lediga-jobb/70…. Spread the word! Application deadline April 8th!

Our Neko paper, headed by Niclas Jansson from KTH Royal Institute of Technology is finally out: doi.org/10.1016/j.comp…. Have a look at the code at neko.cfd!

Welcome to the DLES Workshop organised by the Institute of Fluid Mechanics Institute of Fluid Mechanics (LSTM) at Department Chemie- und Bioingenieurwesen (FAU), FAU Erlangen-Nbg together with ERCOFTAC!

Now the ERCOFTAC DLES14 Workshop at Institute of Fluid Mechanics (LSTM) is finished. 3 days, 6 keynotes, 125 talks, 6 coffee breaks and 160 participants later, we like to thank a lot to all participants and everybody that helped to make it a nice event! Department Chemie- und Bioingenieurwesen (FAU) FAU Erlangen-Nbg. See you in two years in Delft!

The ERCOFTAC DLES14 Workshop at Institute of Fluid Mechanics (LSTM) was held during the last week. Special thanks to the organizers cristian marchioli (University of Udine), Philipp Schlatter (Department Chemie- und Bioingenieurwesen (FAU)), Maria Vittoria Salvetti (Università di Pisa) and Prof. Stefan Hickel (TU Delft).

Anlässlich des Girls' Day besuchten junge Frauen den Institute of Fluid Mechanics (LSTM), um sich experimentell mit Fragen der Strömungsmechanik zu beschäftigen. Vielen Dank für den Besuch!
