This morning my elected colleagues and I went to @PS60si to remember our veterans and especially those POWs and MIAs who never came home. Thank you Principal Bonnano, Rolling Thunder, the PTA, and all the kids for supporting our vets.

We kicked off Veterans Day weekend with a beautiful assembly/flag-raising ceremony alongside the 5th grade class of P.S. 60 and Rolling Thunder. It is crucial to teach students the meaning behind Veterans Day, the POW-MIA flag, and the sacrifices those who served our country

Had a wonderful morning paying tribute to my fellow Veterans @PS60si, for the Rolling Thunder SI NY POW/MIA Chair dedication & flag raising ceremony. The day continued with a special celebration with Tottenville High School Family💜 JROTC for Veterans Day & Marine Corp Birthday. 🇺🇸 #VeteransDay

What an amazing afternoon I had visiting the @PS60si 5th graders and engaging in their Project Based Learning initiative centered around environmental issues!
