#ReturnToSchool2020 NEWS: on Monday, September 21, 2020 all schools will begin full-day teaching and learning. Students in blended learning will begin to report to buildings, depending on their in-person schedule. All students in 100% remote learning will begin full-day learning.

NEW: Mayor Eric Adams de Blasio, Chancellor Melissa Aviles-Ramos Carranza, UFT Pres Mulgrew & CSA Pres Cannizzaro announced a phased schedule for the start of in-person learning and additional staffing plan so that all @NYCschools are best positioned to deliver a strong, safe start to the year.

We are excited to have completed our first fully remote day of school for the new school year! Sure there were some challenges, but the day was strong! Lots of live teaching! Lots of smiles! High engagement! #togetherisbetter District 26 Thank you teachers!

It is a great day at P.S. 41 Q. 1st grade blended students are engaging in seasonal art by painting pumpkins. Remote students are also engaged in seasonal art projects. District 26

Many thanks to Hope East Queens Church for sponsoring our upcoming Wacky Science virtual assemblies! Students learn that chemical reactions, air pressure, inertia, and potential and kinetic energy make up a big part of our everyday lives. Science is everywhere.

Today we are celebrating our graduating 5th graders. This amazing group contributed to a multi-year project collecting hundreds of pounds of plastic bottle caps and the creation of this incredible bench! Much love to our students and families in the Class of 2021! District 26
