Turned 35 today. Can’t believe it’s been just over 14 years since I left home, dropped out of school, and moved to Seoul to become an esports commentator. Thanks to everyone who has supported throughout the years. I hope one day I can live up to it!

There are so many fun storylines this year with T1 defending their title— their rivalry with GEN, plus HLE’s redemption arc? Not to mention the new challenger AL who already pushed GEN to five games at MSI. Very happy to be doing coverage again this year! #EWC2025

T1 salvaged this draft incredibly well and ended up with something they are insanely comfortable with and it SHOWS in teamfights. This is some damn good League of Legends and I can’t wait to see what Game 5 has in store for us. MSI this year just keeps on giving.

What other teams can’t buy — what takes years to build, is the synergy that the core OFGK players have after years of domestic and international success. Their teamwork is paramount for comps like their G4-G5 drafts to work. Doran shakes off the choker moniker. Can T1 win MSI?

T1 spent so much of the first half of the LCK at the middle of the pack— so much of the year figuring out how to restructure around Doran and their bottom lane. They had SEVEN additional losses to the undefeated GEN. Now they are 1 win away from an MSI title? Mindblowing growth.

GEN continue their win streak to 23 series! What an incredibly dominant year. After defending their MSI title and finding their clutch at an international event in back to back game fives, is this GenG’s best chance at a Worlds title for Chovy? Will he finally do it?

Frankly, HLE and T1 looked sloppy and disrespectful here at EWC. After both of their matches leading into AL, AL looked way cleaner and better prepared. I don’t think this was an upset at all. Drafts were playable, especially T1’s G2 draft— it was more of an issue of execution.

GEN looked unstoppable in wins in this EWC finals. All three of their victories were extremely dominant. 26 wins in a row is an absurd streak and it’s bound to continue. For AL— it’s another tragic game 5 loss to an LCK team but they should be proud of how close they kept it.
