Today, #Lithuania mourns and hopes. On June 14, 1941, the Soviet regime started deporting tens of thousands of innocent 🇪🇪🇱🇻🇱🇹 people to Siberia. These mass deportations, occurring from 1941 to 1952, saw about 300,000 Lithuanians torn from their homes. #WeRemember #NeverAgain

There is a visit, & there is THE visit. Proud to share snapshots from yday's mtngs in #Kyiv, #Ukraine, a nation steadfast in its fight for freedom. It's been my third time accompanying the Speaker of the #Lithuania|n parliament on a visit here since the start of the invasion.

A year & a half separate these two photos, taken in a kindergarten in Irpine. Lithuanian reconstruction projects change lives, bringing Ukrainian kids a sense of stability, security, solidarity, and optimism for the future that everything's gonna be alright. Or even better.

🚆Lithuanian Railways (LTG) has announced the RailBalticaOfficial route between #Vilnius & #Kaunas. Once completed, the journey will be just 38 minutes. Mark my words: if this project goes ahead, Kaunas-Vilnius will become a bipole with ~2M people, driving the #Baltic region's economy.

🚀 Impressive Economic Growth! Over the last 20 years, #Lithuania has achieved an astonishing 628% growth rate, showcasing the incredible resilience and dynamism of its economy.
