Congratulations to StV Girls Water Polo and Hinsdale Central boys polo on winning the first ever Knight Invite over the weekend!

All this week PHS Girls Water Polo will be honoring our seniors! We are so proud of everything they have accomplished and can't wait to see what the future holds for them!

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT:‼️Aaliyah Rogel‼️ *Aaliyah has been playing water polo all four years at PHS* *She will be attending Illinois State University in the Fall* *Her favorite memory was junior year yoga. "Everyone was so tired that some girls fell asleep on the yoga Matts."*

Aaliyah's words of advice to incoming Freshman: "Water polo is very tough but please never give up. I had never played water polo before and even when I felt like quitting I didn’t, this lead me to become a stronger person in general." Congratulations Aaliyah!!

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: ‼️Joselyne Santangelo‼️ *Josie has been on the PHS water polo team for all 4 years of high school!* *She will be attending DePaul or Harper next year*

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT:‼️Josie Santangelo‼️ *Her favorite memory: "When our bus crashed (not that part), but then we all thought the ambulance technician was cute so we wanted to all be checked by him."*

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT:‼️Josie Santangelo‼️ Josie's words of wisdom: "Talk to everyone on the team and have as much fun as you can. I had no clue how to play my freshman year and I realized everyone wants to help and it’s an amazing experience." Congrats, Josie!

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT‼️Megan Young‼️ *Megan has been playing on the PHS Water Polo Team for 3 years!* *She will be attending Saint Louis University in the fall* Megan's favorite Water Polo memory is "Going to tournaments and getting to spend the day with my teammates."

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: ‼️Megan Young‼️ Megan's advice to the incoming Freshman: "Just join! The more activities you try out, the more people you’ll meet and you will love being part of a team." Congratulations Megan!!

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT:‼️Anastasia Chorn‼️ *Anastasia has been on the PHS Polo Team for all 4 years* *She will be attending Urbana Champaign University this Fall* *Her favorite memory is cheering during games* *Her advice to the incoming freshman: "Start training before the season!"*

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT:‼️Brigitte Cueter‼️ *Brigitte has been playing water polo for PHS for all four years of high school!* *She will be attending Loyola University Chicago in the Fall* *Her favorite memory from water polo at Prospect is: "Making my very first goal in a game."*

Brigitte's advice to the incoming freshman: "It may seem like a scary sport to try out, but once you get into the hang of things you’ll love it! I am so glad that I went on the pool deck during polo tryouts my freshman year instead of the track." Congratulations Brigitte!!

Maggie's favorite memory of PHS Polo: "sophomore year spring break practices, goofing around with Isabelle in goal" Maggie was the Varsity Goalie this year!

Maggie's advice to the income freshman: "If I could talk to an incoming freshman, I would tell them to enjoy every moment and not to stress over the little mistakes. There’s always room for improvement but your memories on polo will last forever." Congratulations Maggie!
