Prospect Park is going BLUE thanks to a $68 MILLION investment to address flash flooding in this beloved greenspace and the surrounding neighborhoods. And by blue we mean we're installing Brooklyn's first Bluebelt right here at the park!

Together with NYC Water, NYC Parks, and Prospect Park, we'll use nature-based solutions to enhance the park's lake and wetlands to manage intense rainfall better. These enhancements will help turn the park into a powerful tool for climate resilience.
