Orland District 135 students from CJH, JJH, & CJH are on their first trip with EF Education First tours in Costa Rica! Day 1 was travel, Days 2 & 3 are in Tortuguero, which is only accessible by boat! We are having a blast & learning so much! Even enjoying ice cream in the rain!

On Day 4 in Costa Rica, students from CJH, JJH, & OJH went zip-lining in Sarapiqui! It was an amazing experience & though some were scared (me included), they pushed through & overcame their fears! 이경민 is resilient!

CJH, JJH, & OJH students building friendships w/each other, but also w/students from Montana! We are having a blast together & on Day 5, we had the ultimate team building experience: White Water Rafting on the Sarapiqui River in Costa Rica! Team Mallo/Conway conquered the rapids!

Day 6 in Costa Rica was a jam packed adventure! Part 1: We kayaked Lake Arenal, which surrounds the Arenal Volcano. 🌋🛶 #osd135 Jerling Junior High Century Junior High #orlandjuniorhigh

Costa Rica Day 6 Part 2! Visited the La Fortuna Waterfall & a chocolate plantation. We learned the entire chocolate making process from growing cacao, roasting & grinding the beans, & making/eating chocolate! Delicious! 🍫😋Orland District 135

Day 7 in CR, we hiked Rincón de La Vieja Volcano National Park. 🌋 94% of CR's energy is from renewable sources (hydro, solar, wind, & geothermal)-the largest geothermal power plant is here! We enjoyed seeing the sulfur spewing mud pots and hot springs! Orland District 135
