In less than a week, national groups mobilized to tank Governor Jim Pillen's proposal to raise $200 million from spirits taxes & reduce harms like impaired driving. The final version would've cut those taxes by $1 for every state producer and worsened excessive drinking & its harms.

Excited to be a part of the first ever Nebraska Mental Health Policy Convening to establish a coalition working to advocate for policies addressing mental health and substance abuse.

The NE Highway Safety Office supported our efforts to address alcohol-related harms from Day 1 thanks to Fred's fearless leadership. He will be missed.
