'Mental wellbeing' puts so much emphasis on 'recharging' and 'taking time for yourself' that it loosens the idea of the responsibility and duty to the other. There is a Golden Mean, and variability, but the sheer extent these ideas are propagated increase social fragmentation.

What *would* be a very reasonable question in an interview for academia, for someone very explicitly committed to some political causes, would be 'How would you teach and treat with appropriate respect a student whose political outlook is very different to your own?'
