Delighted to announce that Welsh Graduate School for the Social Sciences has just awarded 72 ESRC Doctoral Studentships (12 Collaborative, 60 Student-Led) across 7 partner institutions.

An investment of £7.5 million in social science research capacity.

Whilst there is clearly a move to cut the lunch hour, the problem is compounded, particularly in primary, by the increasing numbers taking Free School Meals

I wonder who really ‘wins’ here. The withdrawal of FSM during the summer remains, but now the Welsh Govt has to pay legal fees, presumably at the expense of providing important services to the most vulnerable.
