Seeing Gypsy on Broadway with the incredible Audra McDonald warmed my heart.

Saw so many young folks in graduation regalia today. It is truly inspiring to see so many young people receiving their college degrees. I’m especially fond of those that were proudly wearing their doctoral regalia.

I can’t believe it’s been 15 years since I graduated from high school. Since that time, I’ve lived and grown tremendously!

I see much Gemini slander going on since it’s our season! Everyone hates us, but I dare say they want to be like us.

Yesterday, while in Barnes & Noble, I asked one of the sales associates if there was a section in the bookstore devoted specifically to Black Authors and literature. She looked at me like she had seen a ghost but told me they don’t have a section dedicated to Black authors' literature.
