My editor doesn't necessarily agree w/ this take, but IMO this is really a book about the #ManufactureOfDoubt & public health. TBI and collision sports is the case study. But if you're at all interested in #agnotology, occ health, regulatory capture, etc., it's all in there.

In contrast to clinical surveillance, wastewater surveillance is a population-based tool that does not depend on individual access to health care and uptake of testing. It can be used to identify and reduce inequities, but only if it is representative of our diverse communities.
