The National Audit Office has a report out on the Asylum accommodation contracts. The Home Office originally estimated the cost would be ÂŁ4.5billion over ten years. Based on its current run rate (ÂŁ1.7bn over the past year), this estimate has now been increased to ÂŁ15.5billion.
