Breaking: The Texas Senate has given final approval to Senate Bill 18, which would ban public colleges and universities in Texas from granting tenure starting on Jan. 1. It now heads to the Texas House. #txlege

The TX Senate has passed SB16, which bans teaching about race and gender, SB 17, which bans many DEI programs/offices; and SB 18, which abolishes tenure. These bills will now go to the House. We need Texas faculty and students to come to the capitol on May 3rd at 2 pm! Info below
