2 out of every 5 people arrested for rioting last year had been previously reported to the police for domestic abuse. Remember that when they tell you it's all about legitimate concerns and protecting women.

A young battered looking couple stumbled into Sunday breakfast today & me heart went out to them. Ate 2 huge breakfasts each in 5 minutes, they told me they lived in a tent. In UK in 2025. Gave them food & drinks to go & signposted them for help. Their gratitude made me cry. 😔
