Thank you to all who attended this evening to honour the lovely Dan Kay 💙 and the selfless work he did. 250+ at the funeral, 150+ tonight - amazing! He will never walk alone. #mensch Liverpool FC Liverpool Echo #YNWA (and so many others)

There was a sharp intake of breath and cries of, "Wow!" as our Year 6 children were just shown into the stunning Princes Road Synagogue PrincesRoadShul

Very excited about this project from our former member Phil Tragen Photo, to tie in with the 150th anniversary of our beautiful building this year. Watch this space! #princesroad150

Thrilled to attend LOHC Princes Road launch of their heritage season commemorating 150 years of the Synagogue building. Lovely speeches from amongst others Lord Mayor Richard Kemp CBE, Chief Rabbi Sir Ephraim Mirvis and Steve Rotheram

Pleasure to join colleagues Dan Carden Alison McGovern Anneliese Midgley MP & Matthew Patrick MP at the Liverpool Old Hebrew Congregation event celebrating the 150th anniversary of Princes Road Synagogue.

Today, there have been various events at St George's Hall, including a lunch & dinner, plus a civic event which included keynote speeches by Chief Rabbi Sir Ephraim Mirvis and Steve Rotheram and musical numbers, all compèred by Anne Robinson.

And the day concluded with a private reception with Chief Rabbi Sir Ephraim Mirvis Mirvis for congregation and community leaders at the synagogue. His compassion warmth and enthusiasm are an inspiration to all provincial congregations as we struggle on in the 21st century.

Proud to attend various events for PrincesRoadShul's 150th anniversary today. After 17 years, I'm glad to be out of elected office there, but the place will always be central to my Jewish identity.
