Its absolutely phenomenal that ILM hasn't made a feature animated film on their own since Rango, And in this year alone they make a comeback and knock it out of ballpark TWICE with both Transformers One and Ultraman Rising.

Besides IGN I don’t think I have heard anyone speak ill of Transformers one.

I just watched Transformers One and it reminded me of when I watched X-Men: First Class. Maybe Transformers can be 3D CG animation. More comic-based IPs seem likely to transition from live-action to full 3D CG animation.
