In loving memory of my only maternal uncle Ashok Raina ji who was gunned down by terroists in Gool ( Ramban ) along with his two colleagues on 15th June 1997. He was working their as Principal of Higher Secondary school. I lost my Matamaal that day.

Despite serving in Kargil ( hard post) for many years he was denied transfer to someother place. He was transferred to Gool (far flung, hot bed of terroists area).His only fault was his religion ( Hindu) . He left Kashmir to save his life but was killed in Gool.

Triloke Kaul the pioneer of progressive art movement in Kashmir was born in 1925 Srinagar.. He passed away this Saturday in Jammu. He was 65 in 1990. He never got over the loss of his works and studio. I first met him in 2016 and found he was looking for his works.
