This Saturday, we are marching alongside the Black Student Union to raise awareness of the racial inequities at LCS. We are following the path laid by the organizing work done by Black Students at Fortier in 1969. Our fight is for the Black students who will come after us.

Fifty-one years ago, Fortier students were tear-gassed when they peacefully demonstrated for a course in Black history and the right to a Black student union. Tomorrow Lusher Renaming Comittee and the Lusher Black Student Union say they are following that path.
