Happy last day of classes! I enjoyed spending the morning at our largest #RunWithJim to date, with over 1100 4th-years on a run through Grounds. Many thanks to UVA Clubs for helping organize this special morning – and best of luck to everyone as Final Exercises approach.

Loved having UVA leaders – both students and administrators – up to Carr’s Hill this past week for an end-of-year gathering. I’m grateful to this community for their commitment to making UVA the best it can be.

I enjoyed the opportunity to share lunch on the Lawn with a terrific group of students earlier today. It was useful to hear their perspectives on a variety of subjects, including the Honor system, belonging at UVA, peer advising, dining, and dialogue across difference.

Thanks to everyone who came out for today’s #RunWithJim Army ROTC Battalion Run. It was a great way to start the day and a nice chance to highlight the service of our ROTC students.

Thanks to over 1000 generous donors, we raised more than $50,000 for UVA Children’s Hospital during the Boston Marathon. I’m grateful for all who contributed, and especially thankful to all of our providers and patients who face tremendous challenges every day.
