Super interesting inner monologue. My new favorite pastime is watching these models talk! :D Some of the conversation does match anthropic's actual system prompt at docs.anthropic.com/en/release-not…. But that doesn't necessarily mean its a jailbreak. Nevertheless an interesting insight!

Watch Gemini 2.5 Pro generate a full sand simulation from a simple prompt, complete with temperature physics and state changes🔥💧❄️ Pretty awesome to simulate & reason about the physical world, just by describing what you want to see

Thanks to compute from Prime Intellect, each of our teams will have access to a dedicated H200. Train whatever you want, GPUs will go brrr. Happening next weekend in Zurich🇨🇭, at the mimic x Loki Robotics x OpenAI Hack

I wrote a post on how to connect with people (i.e., make friends) at CS conferences. These events can be intimidating so here's some suggestions on how to navigate them I'm late for #ICLR2025 #NAACL2025, but just in time for #AISTATS2025 and timely for #ICML2025 acceptances! 1/4

We’ve spent the last few days doing a deep dive on what went wrong with last week’s GPT-4o update in ChatGPT. Expanding on what we missed with sycophancy and the changes we’re going to make in the future: openai.com/index/expandin…

What an exciting time to live in, and how amazing is it that's what I do for a living! Not a single boring day when you are in the Gen AI space.😀

New post: I'm all for investment in interpretability but IMO this overstates its importance vs other safety methods I disagree that interp is the only path to reliable safeguards on powerful AI. IMO high reliability is implausible by any means and interp's role is in a portfolio

Today's update of Gemini 2.5 Pro Preview is amazing at code web dev, editing, and transformation -- it is now #1 on the WebDev arena, with an ELO score of 1420. That means you can build super cool, visually stunning web apps, with just a single prompt! Check out this example,

It's a real shame that ICML has decided to automatically reject accepted papers if no author can attend ICML. A top conference paper is a significant boost to early career researchers, exactly the people least likely to be able to afford to go to a conference in Vancouver.
