Heavenly Father, teach us to trust you and the work you are doing in our lives and marriage. Even when we don’t understand your plan or what you’re doing, let us rest in your promises. You love us and want what’s best for us. Amen

Lord, we pray for that spouse who is becoming stronger in who they are and who you desire them to be - yet their spouse is struggling with these new changes. Draw each closer to YOU through these changes and bless, especially, the individual faithfulness. Amen.

Lord, please show me how to cherish my spouse today. Amen.

Protect our marriage, Lord. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, when we got married we promised to love, honor, and cherish each other as long as we both shall live. We ask that you teach us to love the way that we should, with patience and kindness, forgiveness and grace. Amen

Lord, help my spouse and I speak kindly to each other and keep from raising our voices to one another. Help us use words that are respectful rather than angry and condemning. Amen

Heavenly Father - We take refuge in You today. Cover us in the shelter of Your Mighty Wings.

My Precious Jesus - Thank you for intervening in big decisions that my spouse sometimes leans towards, that could affect both of us and our marriage long-term. I know that the longer it takes, the more time I have to pray. I love you for giving me this extra time. Amen.

Lord, when it comes to making decisions - please lead my spouse's heart, as well as my own - in the same direction. Let us be of one mind as you guide us with wisdom and discernment. Amen.

It's easy to pray for those who we know are hurting. But what about those who act like they are holding their life all together? They just may need your prayers, more. For under that facade is a world crumbling apart.

Father, help me to be the spouse you created me to be. Show me where I need to improve in my marriage. Amen.
