Director General of CAAN and Director General DGAC France signed a technical MOU today in Paris, France with objectives to enhance safety oversight system and technical human resource development in aviation sector of Nepal.

As part of continuous close cooperation, a Nepali team comprising HE Ambassador and Director General of CAAN visited EU DGMOVE on 21 June 2023 in Brussels, Belgium.

CAAN/TIA has brought its incinerators in operation from today capable to manage the wastes produced from aircrafts, restaurants, passengers, visitors and staffs. It will reduce the wildlife/bird hazard and enhance the overall safety of the Airport as well.

CAAN is an Autonomous Authority. (Ref. Clause 4, Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal Act , 1996 )

Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal welcomes international airlines who wishes to operate their flights from airfield of Pokhara and Gautam Buddha Airports with 100% waiver on landing , parking and navigational charges .

CAAN Deposited NPR 580 Millions in Gov. treasury as dividend of this FY. As per latest physical assets verification , it stands at approx. NPR 500 Billions. Irrespective of profit/loss, 33 airports are in operations connecting places and people.
