I met the advocacy group, Physicians for Patient Protection, PPP - Putting Patients First when I first joined this app 2 years ago while advocating for physician led care. Please check out the work they do. I urge everyone to ask for a physician. Nursing≠Medicine wlns.com/business/press…

Sooo..the American Academy of Physician Assistants(AAPA) wants a truce so the AMA will stop opposing their attempts to have "broader clinical rights" aka the unsupervised practice of medicine aka practicing medicine w/o a license. Because it's "divisive". medpagetoday.com/special-report…

🔴 Hi Worcestershire Acute NHS, Thank you for responding to my previous post raising serious concerns about the behaviour of one of your MATRONS. ⭕️ This move was not taken in the interest of patient safety as you claimed. It was made in the interest of your matron and one of the A+E

This is bulls**t. I've been on a committee in which bylaws were added. Took months. Changing bylaws does not occur in one fell swoop on a Zoom at 4pm. Especially when changing a scope of practice. Trust me when I say this meeting is occurring

I have the misfortune to see a PA today for my hospital appointment. The clinic nurse introduced them as a doctor, he never said he is not a doctor. I am naturally unimpressed, but feel trapped in the situation. I will be writing to PALS and the consultant team.

Thank you for your support. Thank you also to those who share their experiences. PALS had emailed me back to say their would “need to seek advice on this”, so let’s see. 1/

This is the future, actually. It’s crazy that we live our whole adult lives breaking our hearts and destroying our vascular system, then we get to meet a skilled cardiologist who could have helped prevent it all but only in the emergency room after the damage is done
