Not much Platinum moving, but Open Interest keeps increasing. Another 1,588 contracts or 79,400 oz. has been opened. 5,061 oz. of Platinum has been withdrawn from Eligible.

Another 1.8M ounces of Silver leaves Comex Eligible on Thursday. HSBC withdrew 610,424 oz. JP Morgan withdrew 1,198,899 oz. Loomis International withdrew 600,113 oz. CNT Depository added 600,047 oz. Open Interest increased by 3,382 contracts.

No changed to Gold vault/depository levels on Thursday. Open Interest increased by 5,537 contracts or 553,700 ounces. Open Interest now stands at 45,810,100 oz or 118% of all vaulted Gold.

4,069 oz of Platinum leaves Nymex Eligible on Thursday. JP Morgan Chase Bank NA was the culprit. However, another 4,676 contracts added to Open Interest. (233,800 oz.) 15,547 contracts or 777,350 oz has been added to Open Interest in the past 4 days alone.

One million new Silver ounces has been added to Registered this time on Tuesday by Stone X Precious Metals LLC. 946 oz. was added by Stone X into Eligible also. Open Interest increased 601 contracts.

27,193 oz of Gold added to Comex Eligible on Tuesday by Asahi Depository. Brinks Inc. withdrew 4,822 oz. Open Interest reduced by some 6,129 contracts.

25,085 ounces of Platinum left Eligible category on Nymex on Tuesday. HSBC withdrew 25,036 oz. Brinks Inc. withdrew 49 oz. Open Interest increased another 2,192 contracts.

824k Silver ounces withdrawn from Comex Eligible on Thursday. Asahi Depository withdrew 1,114,614 oz. HSBC withdrew 305,904 oz. Loomis International withdrew 600,809 oz. but then added 596,870 oz. Manfra, Tordella & Brookes added 600,195 oz. Open Interest increased by 2,582

182,499 Gold ounces withdrawn from Comex Eligible on Thursday. Asahi withdrew 44,282 oz. Brinks Inc. withdrew 55,942 oz. Loomis International withdrew 80,731 oz. Malca Amit withdrew 1,543 oz. Open Interest decreased 453 contracts.

Nymex Open Interest for Platinum is practically 100,000 contracts. This represents 4,991,400 ounces of Platinum. Four million, nine-hundred and ninety-one thousand.... four hundred ounces. This is 14x or 1400% the total vaulted physical ounces within Nymex. Let that sink in.
