Our paper is out in Microbial Biotechnology (MBT). We report a new technique to analyze microbial growth in encapsulated systems. The work led by Zhiyue Wang and done with Paige Novak. ami-journals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/17…

Our #bioreactor research for N removal from agricultural #drainage and urban #stormwater was selected for funding from Institute on the Environment UMN! Team includes Paige Novak, Laura Christianson, Niranga M Wickramarathne PhD, Hao Wang, and Nigel Pickering at Geosyntec. Looking forward to see what we will find.

We will present 2 posters at #ASMicrobe 2024: AES-FRIDAY-710 (Nitrate removal from agricultural drainage) and AES-SATURDAY-802 (Microbial N cycling on Cladophora) by Hao Wang. Hope to see you there! There are upcoming postdoc opportunities as well. Contact me if interested.

Had a great time attending the 2024 #ASMmicrobe in Atlanta, GA with Satoshi Ishii. So nice to finally get the chance to meet many of our collaborators in person. We also presented our latest research on N-cycling. Stay tuned, the results will be published soon.
