UK govt to seek disqualification of benefit claimants from driving for alleged fraud, failure to return overpayments. If people don't have the money? Loss of licence means can't work, have family life. Same won't apply to tax dodgers, thieves. scammers. leftfootforward.org/2025/05/a-new-…

Michelle Mone can be expelled from the House of Lords by a simple majority vote in the Commons, and then in the House of Lords. Like if she needs to go. RT if she has to go.

The people who are claiming the most benefits in the UK. 1. King Charles - £500m a year. 2. The 150 Billionaires - Dodging £300m a year each in tax. 3. MP's - Claiming nearly £50k each in personal untaxed benefits. These are totally unnecessary benefits we need to crackdown on.

New figures reveal a staggering 150% surge in UK billionaire wealth since 2010. ▪️2010: £250 Billion ▪️2025: £620 Billion While workers’ wages have been held back, the ultra-wealthy have seen their fortunes soar. It’s time for a wealth tax - not cuts to disability support.

You are a cruel man! Sir Stephen Timms Had to say something about this from his interview with the Mirror🧵 Absolutely despicable! 😡 Disabled people & the MPs against the cuts have a right to be concerned Its not just anxiety when millions face losing PIP mirror.co.uk/news/politics/…

Canary What the actual fuck are they playing at I will just open one just for that and move it all immediately into an account in my mum ms name starmers Labour really hate the most vulnerable soon we won’t be allowed out without a pass

Canary This is dystopian. Disabled people already jump through enough hoops and now the DWP wants live access to our bank accounts? Who signed off on this surveillance experiment?

AKA The Raspberry (@raspberrytalk) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Canary "Why did you buy that?" "Did you need that for your disability?" "What was the benefit of this purchase?" EEEHHH wrong answers. Your benefits will now be deducted for these items.

9 disability charities inc Scope write ahead of Liz Kendall’s speech tomorrow “We cannot condone a plan that risks condemning more disabled people to a life of poverty.” thetimes.com/uk/politics/ar… #DisabilityBenefits

First it was to make those idle disableds work, despite knowing that less than 100,000 of the 3 million impacted would be able to gain employment. Now it's the fault of people needing help to wash their private parts threatening the whole welfare state theguardian.com/society/2025/m…

Prem Sikka (@premnsikka) 's Twitter Profile Photo

£5bn disability benefits cut will stop welfare state collapsing, says Kendall. Ridiculous. Benefit cuts = squalor, pressure on public services. Total govt spend £1,335bn in 2025-26 £500bn - £1,400bn tax not collected since 2010. Tax the rich. theguardian.com/society/2025/m…

Up to 1,000 GP registrars face unemployment this summer Last summer Wes Streeting announced emergency measures to employ GPs in ARRS with a view to fixing this issue There is no extra funding for employing GPs & every year there are more being trained pulsetoday.co.uk/news/breaking-…

I retired from being a GP trainer after 20+ years - because of the severe lack of opportunities for GP registrars What is the point of putting GP registrars through vocational training & difficult exams, when they face unemployment?? pulsetoday.co.uk/news/breaking-…

"Thames Water boss: I may have misled MPs on bonuses." For a man that's paid £350,000 a year for a part time job, chairing the board, that's a pretty clumsy mistake to be making. thetimes.com/article/22d46f…

The DWP very quietly published a series of damning disability benefits related reports at 4pm on Friday 2 May, on the eve of a bank holiday. The reports show, amongst other things that: 1/6

Canary Funny they can't watch the bank accounts of those who frauded the taxpayer during Covid, what did Track and Trace cost the treasury? It never worked so whose bank account did that end up in? Also when others claim UC from abroad, the gov won't get into their accounts.
