We had a healthy baby three-banded armadillo born two weeks ago behind the scenes to parents Ross and Rachel. We don't know if it's a boy or a girl though: as the pup is demonstrating, three-banded armadillos can completely roll up into a tight ball to protect themselves!

There's nothing like a really good scritch, especially if you're a Mexican spider monkey! This endangered species of monkey, also known by its Mayan name, Ma'ax, is native to forests in Mexico and central America. We have three Mexican spider monkeys, Yoli, Lengua, and Yucatan!
