CBC News Harper added $54B to the debt every year for 9 years. So basically he added the same to the debt with fewer issues to deal with. Also, Harper cut corp tax rate by 20% thereby reducing tax revenue and guaranteeing deficit budgets. Cons are NOT fiscally responsible.
