Not seen any #aurora this evening from North Yorkshire. Activity seems low tonight and I have lots of cloud anyway.

Stunning aurora seen from near Shap this evening...

Better photo this time! I’ve waited 2.5 solar cycles to be able to see the aurora from home (10 second exposure)

I am absolutely stunned at the incredible Aurora, what an absolute treat to see this from outside my house in Shifnal, Shropshire ❤️

I am sitting on wet grass with a soggy bum, and I don’t care… worth getting out of bed for 🤩 #aurora

The winter constellations are on their way out by the time that it gets dark in early April.
Soon, we will lose sight of Orion, Lepus and Canis Major, with Taurus soon to follow.
Bright Jupiter will stand out better in the twilight, but in a few weeks it will also be gone
