#QOL data from #CM816 presented at #AATS2024 are very clear:

- collecting long-term #PROs is feasible
- Neoadj Nivo doesn’t affect #QOL up to 3 years
-no clinical difference in #pain and #QOL after VATS and Open surgery
- less #pain &discomfort after surgery in nivo arm

More great data demonstrating the safety of surgery after neoadj chemo/ICI - from CM77T. I am still interested in trend of ⬇️ pneumonectomy after this approach. And still concerned about those who don’t make it to surgery. We still need to refine selection criteria. #AATS2024

In CM816, return to HRQoL was NOT impacted by use of minimally invasive surgery. Perhaps this is consequent to implementation of ERAS pathways. This emphasizes the importance of completing these complex cases safely regardless of incision type.
