Sheff Utd lost 3-2. As it stands Pompey are SAFE. A draw or better keeps them up. I'm so nervous. Team are playing well though. This would be an unbelievable great escape if they see it through. COME ON POMPEY

2 points from the first 14 games, then 11 from the last 6 games to stay up. A truly remarkable turnaround. The staff & players deserve a huge amount of credit. Shout out to the unbelievable fans who have travelled week in, week out all around the country this season. 🫡

Yesterday was a bit of a blur. I must have spoken to 100+ fans, players and staff during the day. So much tension, emotion, relief and joy. The supporter base of the Women's team may be small in comparison to the mens but those people care deeply about the team. Up the Blues

Congratulations to riva and Hannah Poulter who won the PWSC Player and Young Player of the Season awards. We saw a record number of member votes this season. Thank you to everyone who took their time to vote. portsmouthwomensc.co.uk/post/riva-casl…

The greatest of Great Escapes for Pompey Women. They had two points and no wins entering March - yet stayed up on Sunday. Here's Jay Sadler on a remarkable achievement - seven days after #Pompey also avoided relegation. portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football…

Wasn't at Fratton today as i was on Dad duty at John Jenkins watching Abby and her U14 Pompey Girls. JPL League Champions 🏆 and now JPL Play off Winners! 🥳🎉. A 5-2 win against Ebsfleet & they are on the way to the National Finals! A fantastic achievement by the squad.

If you had told me at Xmas that we would finish 3rd from bottom, 6 points above relegation I would have called you mad. The turnaround in the Portsmouth Women season is incredible. Both teams staying up is brilliant. Now the owners need to invest enough to ensure we push on from here

Huge honour to be nominated for Fan of the Year. Pompey Women are very fortunate to have a number of hugely dedicated supporters. I'm proud of all of them.

Abby made her debut in adult cricket today playing for Chiddingfold with me. That after top scoring in her girls game with 38 runs in the morning. At 13yo to go out & wicket keep against very fast male bowlers is incredibly brave. She got a catch in her first over! So proud

Abby was invited to play adult competitive league cricket this afternoon with me at Shalford. She was wicket keeper. She got 2 stumping including one of my bowling! What an incredible moment for us both. We got out their top scorer as well.

After six-and-a-half years and 138 appearances, title-winning captain Hannah Haughton is departing #Pompey. Thank you for everything, Han. 💙

Hannah leaves Pompey a club legend. What an unbelievable keeper. 61 clean sheets in 138 games. Captain in the promotion winning side. Our family were proud to sponsor her for so long. All the best legend.

Home Shalford debut for Abby & I. Think i should retire now. I bowled and got 4 wickets for 0 runs. Including an Abby catch. Then Abby and I batted together and scored the last ~20 runs. Abby loved making new friends (players dogs) 😍

After 108 appearances across 4 seasons Abby has decided to leave Portsmouth Girls. A decision we totally agree with. She leaves having made some amazing friends & had some awesome experiences. I'm so proud of her representing our club with such commitment.

What a guy. Took a lot of flack when the season started poorly. He was always adamant Pompey would stay up whenever I spoke to him. Huge congratulations Jay
