This is the real issue with young political appointees today; and not that they're «tech bros» or «too immature to grasp complex topics». They're far smarter than swamp creatures, and tired of condescension of their inferiors. This is a scary force. Longhousing begets monsters.

just don't say things that are the opposite of what you actually feel/believe, it's not like you get that much out of being ironic anyway! The potential upside is being kinda funny, and the almost-certain downside is that you let darkness into your soul
