Some late night train news I've just learnt is that you'll soon be able to take a direct train between York - Castleford/Normanton/Wakefield Kirkgate/Mirfield.

Cuts journey time by about half to the first 2. Shame they won't also call at Sherburn and C Fenton but a good start.
